OK, so one of the perks of not having a "real job" is an occasional indulgence in daytime TV. I happened to catch this awesome performance event on Oprah where director Michael Gracey choreographed a piece for 20,000 people to perform with the Black Eyed Peas in Chicago. I think this happened on Oprah's season premier.
Firstly, I think it's pretty obvious just in watching the power of dance to really bring people in to community and lift the spirit. One of the dancers was a guest on the show I was watching and he said that it was like a "joy uprising" and another guest said that if everyone lived their life with the enthusiasm and acceptance they had during that performance the world would be a much happier place.
Now put on some tunes and get on with your bad self.
