Intro to Barbell
Saturday, July 27th, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Revolve Wellness Studios, Catonsville, MD.
Learn the technique for the fundamental powerlifting movements: squat, bench, deadlift, and overhead press as well as mind-body awareness, stability, mobility, and complimentary exercises to build up to and support these lifts. One-on-one attention will help you identify the best position for your body in these movements as well as particular exercises and progressions to work towards your strength goals. No prior strength training or fitness experience is necessary. Limited to 6 participants. Bring a broomstick or PVC pipe (60” length, about 1” diameter) and a yoga mat.
